AURA oil on canvas, 61 X 76 cm, 2007 This is one of those paintings which just happen and you know right then when you have painted it that this happening and unveiling right in front of your eyes. I don't exactly know where it started and how I started working on the face. It my have been from a glimpse of the eye and cheek. You can think about aura as light surrounding the girl but this is her name which just come to me during the painting session! She is a mystical goddess looking straight through you with her staring eyes! She is warm and her heart is open. This is definitively piece available for limited edition and one of the reasons that I will have the opportunity to play when I repaint her! It gives the undo option which you don't have when you paint. But by making limited edition you open the door to infinite possibilities!
