This painting
was created the day I was told that my father passed away.
I was going through the grieving process while I was painting.
Strangely I did not have the title for it until the day I
had to put it in an exhibition. Suddenly I had a flash: one
of my favorite Bob Dylan songs when he was reborn into Christianity,
my father was Christian. I was touched many times by these
two lines from the song:
Then
onward in my journey I come to understand
That every hair is numbered like every grain of sand.
It seams
just the right title for the painting.
