One
evening I was just struck with Bruce Springsteen's concert album
from Dublin. "When the Saints go Marching in" it hit me
on so many levels that I reached a point when I was crying with
joy as I was painting. It was such a powerful experience which echoed
for days in me after that! So many messages are woven into the texture
of canvas, many hidden and waiting for the right time to unfold
as it usually happens! This is also one of those paintings where
the sides are not painted to match the painting but to be part of
the painting. With thick layers of paint it will be impossible to
reproduce something like that and if I do it will be completely
different from original.
